Plants available will include perennials, annuals, herbs, houseplants, succulents, vegetables, trees and shrubs. Proceeds will be donated to Master Gardener Volunteer community projects and programs. Past projects include trees for Divine Mercy School, hydroponics program support for schools in Antwerp, benches for the Black Swamp Nature Center, trees in Oakwood Park and Payne Park, inner city pots for Oakwood Village, watering bags for trees in community projects, planting the succulent bed at Reservoir Park, helping with landscaping for Habitat for Humanity projects, plants for the fairgrounds and club projects 4-H, plants for the Flatrock Creek Autumn Festival, helping the friends of the Paulding Park Board with projects, the native garden at the Black Swamp Nature Center, flower pots in downtown Antwerp, maintenance and Fort Brown Plant Care and MGV Memorial Garden at the Fairgrounds.

“Volunteering is a great way to give back to our Paulding County community,” said Master Gardener Volunteers, “without this sale, our program would not have funds to develop projects in our county.”

During the event, the Volunteer Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions about horticulture and gardening. Technical data sheets and general plant brochures will be available free of charge. Special items are available for kids under 10, free with purchase. Bring a child or a friend to experience this great community event. Finally, come early for the best selection of our plants for sale.
